The MR2 (SW20) crowd is realizing it is harder to find good condition factory parts. Drilling into your console or dashboard to hold onto gauges is unacceptable. We now offer center vent gauge pods.

Background:

The center vents are 48mm tall. They can not hold 52mm gauges flush. We took a lesson learned from the MK3 Supra community and found that we could make the gauge stand out in front of the vent. We found it very useful in the MK3 Supra community, so we have applied that principle here and brought it to you now.

Design:

The vent pod gets pushed into the vent from the front and has little clips that hold it in place with a little pressure. They allow for airflow! We have placed little slots around the gauge pod so you can still have air coming through almost like factory. We also have tilted the gauges towards the driver 10 degrees for some convenience and readability.

Material:

Like the rest of our products, we use ASA Plastic for everything. ASA is a plastic that is superior to ABS. It can withstand water, heat, UV-light and cold. It's made for years of continuous use without failure. We have tested the insert as much as possible but if for whatever reason you have ANY issue, we will replace it free of cost for up to two years.

Sizes:

We offer the gauge pod in 52mm and 60mm. The only caveat is, the depth of the gauge. You will have to utilize modern gauges from AEM or Prosport (there are many more) that don't have a depth greater than 1.5 inches (38mm) deep. We have found this depth to work best. If you have a gauge deeper than this, it will fit in, but will stick out of the gauge cup itself. The depth of a gauge is measured from the base (back or bottom) of the gauge up against the body to the bottom of the gauge bezel. DO NOT include the bezel of the gauge itself, that sits on top of the gauge cup itself and doesn't fit inside.

We now also offer a SHALLOW version. Meant for gauges like the AEM X-Series.

Note: you will still need our X-series adapter to fully secure the gauge to the pod.

LHD or RHD:

This will fit either! You're good to go! And yes, the 10 degrees of tilt into the driver seat will be in the correct position for you RHD guys as well.

Note: It is the customer's responsibility for measuring the depth of the gauge they're going to use. We do not have a verification list of any sort. Utilize a ruler and measure the body depth of the gauge OR contact the manufacture of the gauge itself to confirm it's depth before purchasing our product.
